The limit is a weight, not a count of fruit. A bed can look full well before it reaches 100 kg — in one recorded session the player called the truck completely full, and the load still weighed only about 48 kg when sold. Gauge your next trip by weight rather than by how full the bed looks.

The selling point sits in the market's central area and works as a drive-in: steer the truck into the zone and press E to sell. The buyer is far enough that one player who ran there on foot turned back to fetch his truck. The market also has a separate buying point for rubber, which suggests each product has its own spot — bring durians to the durian zone.
Stolen durians wait out a countdown
Durians stolen from another player's garden at night will not go into the truck bed straight away. In one observed theft the game ran a short 3-2-1 countdown before the fruit could be handled; once it ends, load the durian as normal.
