Last updated:

Durian Garden's shop sells seeds, the second farm plot unlock, rubber trees and worker hires. Here is what each costs, where you buy it and what you get.

Quick answer

In Durian Garden you can buy seeds, unlock the second farm plot for 5,000, buy rubber trees at 1,500 each and hire workers listed at 120 or 200.

What you can buy, what it costs, and what you get

Durian Garden's purchases are spread across the map: the seed stand sits in the central market area, steps from the durian sell point, while the second-plot unlock, rubber trees and worker hires are separate buys. Each price is shown where you make that purchase.

Seeds: the price is on the label

The stand is a lineup of many seed types, each with its own price written on it. Buying takes three steps:

  1. Walk up to the seed vendor's stand.
  2. Pick the seed you want and read its label — the number on it is what you pay.
  3. Pay that price. The seeds are yours to plant in your garden.

One early seed cost 200. Because the stand is steps from the durian sell point, the usual rhythm is to sell a load of durians and buy seeds on the way out; our guide to selling durians covers the sale itself.

The stock rotates roughly every five minutes — treat that as an estimate rather than a fixed timer — so the seed types on offer change. A "The Seed Shop has restocked!" banner announces each refresh. Check the label for the price at that moment. Which type is worth growing is a separate question; our Durian Garden durian varieties guide covers the types.

Rubber trees: 5,000 for the plot, then 1,500 per tree

Rubber comes in two purchases: the plot, then the trees.

  1. Unlock the plot. Your starting farm is the durian orchard; the second farm plot, used as a rubber plantation, costs 5,000 to unlock. Our Durian Garden upgrades guide covers the farm purchases.
  2. Buy the trees. Rubber trees cost 1,500 each. A tree you buy can be planted on the new plot right away.

That puts the plot plus your first tree at 6,500. Trees are priced one at a time, so you can buy several on a single trip if you have the funds — one player bought five trees in one run.

Worker hires and the car showroom

Not every purchase sits at the market:

  • Worker hires. The worker hire list shows workers with stats such as strength and speed; two are priced at 120 and 200.
  • Car showroom. Durian Garden also has a car showroom.

What to buy first

Seeds go straight into your existing garden, so the seed stand is the natural first stop. The 5,000 plot unlock and the 1,500-per-tree rubber are the large outlays, with a first rubber trip costing 6,500 including one tree. Worker hires at 120 and 200 are separate, smaller purchases.

If the 5,000 unlock is still out of reach, our Durian Garden how to make money guide covers earning.
