How to Make Money in Durian Garden

Last updated:

Sell durians at the central market, add rubber tapping as a second product, replant from the seed shop and hire workers to water. See what each choice changes.

Quick answer

Sell what your farm produces: harvest ripe durians, load them into the pickup, drive to the central market sales zone and press E. Rubber tapping is the one choice here that adds a second sellable product, once you pay 5,000 for the plantation plot and 1,500 per tree. Replanting, workers and codes change how much you produce, who waters your trees, or your balance once.

Sell durians at the central market

To turn durians into cash:

  1. Harvest ripe durians from your trees.
  2. Load the fruit into your pickup truck.
  3. Drive to the sales zone in the central market area.
  4. Press E while in the vehicle to sell.

A roughly 48 kg load of durians sold for 1,000 in one session, and a single durian sold for 12 baht. Both are single-session examples, not fixed prices.

Selling points are product-specific: sell durians at the durian point and latex at the separate rubber buying point.

Rubber tapping adds a second product

Rubber tapping is a repeatable second income route: 5,000 to unlock the rubber plantation plot, then 1,500 per tree. Once planted, each tree runs a repeating cycle:

How the cycle works

  1. Water the tree

A rubber tree has to be watered before it can be tapped.

  2. Tap and drag fast

Drag fast to tap. A wrong or slow drag yields no latex.

  3. Wait for the basket

Each tree allows one tap roughly every 5 minutes, and you cannot collect until the latex fills its collection basket.

  4. Collect the latex

Press to collect once the basket is full.

After collecting, the tree can be watered and tapped again on its next cycle.

Take the latex to the rubber buying point to sell it. Latex sells by unit, at about 200 each in that session. A combined latex-plus-durian load brought 2,000, against 1,000 for a durian-only load.

What each choice changes for your income

Not every option adds a new income stream. This is what each choice costs and what it changes:

Replant from the seed shop

Sales cash goes back into trees at the seed shop, whose stock rotates roughly every 5 minutes. Early on, buy more of the cheaper varieties — extra Kradum Thong trees — then move up to pricier kinds such as Chanee or Monthong once sales are rolling in. One player described earnings as slow at first but growing once many trees were planted.

Hire a worker to water

Workers water the crops, so you can spend that time tapping or harvesting. In one session, the hire list showed options at 120 and 200, plus the worker Noi at 6,000; the hired worker went straight to the plants and watered them. Hiring carries a recurring cost: after hiring Noi, a salary request bill of just over 200 baht a day arrived.

Codes: a one-time boost

Codes add cash directly to your balance, and each code redeems once, so they are a one-time boost rather than a repeatable income route. One player put code cash toward the 5,000 rubber plot and several 1,500-baht trees. Current codes are on the Durian Garden codes page.
